President's Message - 35th Annual NJSIA Seminar - 2026
On behalf of the New Jersey Special Investigators Association (NJSIA), it is my distinct honor to welcome you to our 35th Annual Anti-Insurance Fraud Training Seminar. This milestone anniversary reflects three and a half decades of commitment to advancing the professionalism, knowledge, and effectiveness of special investigators across New Jersey and the neighboring region. This year's program features a comprehensive and carefully curated selection of sessions designed to fulfill the annual training requirements established by the State of New Jersey. Each session addresses critical topics at the intersection of insurance fraud investigation, litigation trends, and emerging schemes enabling attendees to identify the courses most relevant to their current caseloads and professional development goals. I am confident that you will depart with actionable insights and refined skills that will strengthen your investigative work and position you at the forefront of the fight against fraud. We are also pleased to once again offer accredited continuing legal education (CLE) credits for qualifying sessions. An event of this caliber demands sustained effort and meticulous coordination throughout the year. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to the entire NJSIA Board of Directors, whose unwavering commitment, collaborative spirit, and tireless contributions made this seminar possible. Their dedication to our association is a testament to the strength of our community. Special recognition goes to Melissa Jones and John Carusi for their expertise in developing this year's dynamic curriculum, and to Danielle Johns and Rachel Hauck for their outstanding work organizing and producing the seminar materials along with oversight of the website and registration. The caliber of this event is a testament to their professionalism and commitment. I also wish to convey my sincere appreciation to our distinguished speakers, generous sponsors, dedicated vendors, and committed volunteers. Your collective participation and financial support are what enable the NJSIA to deliver a high-caliber educational event year after year while maintaining accessibility for all attendees. I trust that all of our sessions will prove both informative and directly applicable to your investigative responsibilities. I encourage you to take full advantage of our event by engaging with your fellow SIU professionals, as well as representatives from the New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, the Bureau of Fraud Deterrence, the Insurance Council of New Jersey, and the many County Prosecutor's offices in attendance. Equally important, I urge you to also visit our industry partners in the vendor exhibit area. Their tools, technologies, and expertise are key to the broader anti-fraud mission we share. Thank you for your continued dedication to protecting the integrity of our industry. It is a privilege to serve alongside each of you. Tara Arce President NJSIA |
