Prep course and examination Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator
The New Jersey Special Investigators Association is holding an instructor-led Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator CIFI preparation program during our seminar in Atlantic City, New Jersey for candidates looking for a classroom-style setting to enhance and improve their fraud prevention knowledge and study skills. The CIFI preparation program will be offered to members and non-members attending the NJSIA 2018 Conference. Once candidates have been approved to take the CIFI examination we hope that you will visit us in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Our instructor is an expert in the field of fraud investigation and has assisted several individuals in obtaining their CIFI credentials.
Our expert instructor is a valuable resource for those studying for the exam. The instructor will equip candidates with helpful tips for taking the exam, comprehensive information on the core content covered in the exam, and the ability to answer complex questions about the material.
The CIFI preparation course will be offered on October 16, 2018 in Atlantic City, New Jersey and on October 17, 2018 the exam will be offered. Candidates who have been approved we be allowed to take the examination.
Process of Obtaining your CIFI
The Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI) program is an accrediting process for individuals with the specialized skills required to detect, investigate and deter insurance fraud. The program has a high standard for admission and testing, which includes adherence to IASIU’s code of ethics, and a demonstrated competency through mandatory continuing professional education.
Requirements for CIFI Certification
A minimum of 100 points is needed for the CIFI Examination Application, with a minimum of 30 points of SIU investigative experience required. Each category takes into consideration your education, SIU investigative experience, other investigative experience and your experience as an expert in your field, as a speaker or writer. CIFI Application Fee:
The CIFI exam fee is $200 for members and $400 for nonmembers of International Association of Special Investigation Units. If you qualify for membership, your membership application and payment fees must be received and application approved prior to submitting your CIFI application in order to qualify for the lower member rate of $200. The exam fee is not included in your NJSIA Seminar registration fee.
